World Bank To Support Liberia Digital Economy

A team from the World Bank, headed by Mr. Eric Manes, Senior Economist, Finance Competitiveness and Innovation for Africa Region to include, Ansu Abraham Metzger, PSD Consultant, Naomi J. Halewood, Senior ICT Policy Specialist for Global ICT Unit among others, have come to Liberia to work along with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications and give positive support in digitizing the country’s economy.

The aim of the World Bank ICT team, is to put Liberia on par with other African countries by 2030. The one-week discussion is ongoing at the Boulevard Palace in Sinkor.

Minister Kruah Inspects CSquared Metro-fiber Deployment

The Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, Cllr. Cooper W. Kruah had a one day inspection tour of CSquared Metro Fiber deployment in Monrovia which is expected to provide reliable and affordable internet services for all Liberians.

CSquared is a broadband infrastructure company that is building a 200KM of metro fiber around Monrovia. read more
